**Evening Manager: Full Time**
Responsible To: The House Manager **Responds immediately and appropriately to all resident emergencies**
- Has overall responsibility for staff, building, safety and well-being of residents while on shift
- Oversees and participates in service delivery in the dining room for the evening meal in conjunction with kitchen staff
- Trains and supervises meal service employees (Food Service Assistant and Server)
- Provides accurate and appropriate referral and support services to residents and their families in conjunction with all staff
- Monitors the well-being of all residents
- Monitors the Lifeline response system in the building while on shift and responds appropriately
- Conducts regular security checks
- Assists with various word processing and office routines
- Receives and secures financial and other paperwork from residents on behalf of the House Manager
- Provides regular social programming in consultation with the Activity Coordinator
- Acquires and maintains a working knowledge of building systems and procedures
- Develops and supports a sense of community within the building
- Assists with common area cleaning and laundry services
- Maintains resident and staff confidentiality
- Ensures dining room operation adheres to government regulations and Food Safe practices
- Performs all work within the standards and philosophy of Stevenson Place.

**Qualifications**:
**Specific**
- Grade 12 graduate
- Experienced in working with older adults
- Dining room management experience
- Food Safe - Basic and Advanced preferred
- Current knowledge of resources for seniors and how to access them
- Knowledge of building management
- Current CPR and First Aid (Emergency Community Care or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of computers and word processing
- Current Criminal Record Check

Starting Salary: As per Collective Agreement - $23.38 per hour
Benefits: 4% Vacation Pay

Hours & Days: Monday to Friday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Expected hours: 35 per week
