At Mountain Animal Hospital & Mobile Veterinary Care we are a veterinary practice for small animals in Canmore, Alberta in the heart of the Canadian Rockies. The facilities are new with state-of-the-art equipment capable of completing some advanced medical procedures locally. The vision is to provide a higher level of local Veterinary contact, treatments in the best interest of patients and clients, quality base care, and emergency services.

**Job description**
- Manage day to day operations to ensure client, staff, and business effectiveness.
- Scheduling and shared supervision of clinical staff.
- Management Human Relations liaison for clients and staff.
- Administrate employee payroll, benefits, and Employee Relations.
- Participate in hiring, orientation, and training of staff.
- Preparation, presentation, and analysis of management and operations reports.
- Oversee inventory of optimal levels of medical and office supplies.
- Oversee Facility Maintenance including IT systems and building and ambulance maintenance.
- Provide temporary backup to staff roles as required.

Your key qualifications will include:

- Previous management or administrative experience, or ability to demonstrate an aptitude.
- Experience in Veterinary or Medical clinic or similar operations.
- High energy, passion, and leadership to excel in an expanding business.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
- Motivation and ability to learn new skills.

The position offers a competitive salary with some flexibility in work hours.

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

**Salary**: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year

Pay: $50,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
