Assistant Operations Manager

Club Kitchen is Yaletown's newest food hall, housing 13 of Vancouver's top restaurants under one roof. Customers can order from multiple restaurants on one bill, with a single delivery fee and convenient options for delivery, pick-up, or dine-in at Club Kitchen's central Yaletown location.

We are seeking a personable Assistant Operations Manager who is resourceful, skilled at problem solving in dynamic situations, and capable of managing a balance between customer and partner needs while leading their own team. This role involves ensuring the seamless and efficient operation of the concierge team, overseeing facility operations, and warmly greeting and assisting our valued customers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assign work tasks and responsibilities to the concierge team
- Conduct on-the-job training for new concierge team members
- Provide input and recommendations for staff development initiatives
- Develop and maintain efficient staff schedules
- Coordinate with restaurant partners to align staffing needs with peak order times
- Manage shift rotations and assignments to maximize productivity and quality of service
- Manage and oversee partnerships with licensees and vendors
- Coordinate with restaurant partners to address any inquiries, issues, and requests
- Overseeing all aspects of operations in the absence of the Operations Manager
- Collaborate with the Operations Manager to develop and execute strategic plans and growth initiatives
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of facility to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and upgrades as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders in a timely manner

**Requirements**:

- Familiarity with food delivery apps/systems
- Previous leadership experience in the food and beverage industry or related field
- Experience with daily restaurant operations
- Excellent communication and resourceful organizational skills
- Skilled in resolving vendor-related issues promptly and efficiently
- Strong problem-solving ability in resolving operational issues
- Strong conflict resolution skills with the ability to handle various stakeholders and situations
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
