At the Ottawa Network for Education (ONFE) we fuel kids and ignite learning, making sure all children in Ottawa have an equal start every day. ONFE is a charitable organization that collaborates with partners from education, business, government, and the community to develop enriching programs for K-12 students. Working with the four public school boards, ONFE supports children and youth in English and French. No other community organization has the same reach and ability to respond and deliver much-needed programs to schools across the region.

ONFE is proud to partner with Junior Achievement (JA) Canada and delivers JA programs in Ottawa. The mission of JA is to inspire youth and prepare them to succeed in the global economy. Through JA entrepreneurship programs, students gain firsthand experience in running a business. They work with mentors from the local business community to create strategies and manage their own company.

**JA Program Administrator**

We are looking for a self-motivated, team-oriented, highly organized, and versatile individual. The Program Administrator position will be responsible for the data administration of the JA Ottawa Program.

This person is highly organized, detail-oriented and skilled with time management. Strong interpersonal skills, proven problem-solving abilities and the ability to multi-task are keys to success. This position reports to the Director of JA Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist volunteers with training registration, inquiries, profiles, scheduling and placement, and online registrations.
- Database management.
- Prepare, deliver, track, retrieve, and manage JA Ottawa program kits.
- Support JA Ottawa team with reporting.
- Support JA Ottawa team with program delivery, volunteer recruitment/training, and fundraising as required.
- Support with the maintenance of JA Ottawa web pages.

**Required Skills/Experience**
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in office administration or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of related administrative experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with a database or Customer Relationship Management software.
- Satisfactory Police Record Check in alignment with ONFE’s Conditions of Employment Policy.
- Driver’s license, and access to a reliable motor vehicle with insurance coverage that has no policy restrictions for work related driving.
- Fluency in English and French (oral and written) and fluency in other languages.

**Hybrid work**:

- ONFE offers a hybrid work environment, which requires work both in the office and remote.

This is a part-time (20 hours/week) term position from January 3, 2024 to June 28, 2024.

Au Réseau d’Ottawa pour l’éducation (ROPE), nous nourrissons les enfants d’Ottawa et stimulons leur apprentissage afin de veiller à ce que chacun démarre sa journée d’école sur un pied d’égalité avec ses pairs. Le ROPE est un organisme caritatif qui collabore avec des partenaires du secteur de l’éducation, public, privé et communautaire pour mettre au point des programmes enrichissants pour les enfants de la maternelle à la 12e année. En collaboration avec les quatre conseils scolaires publics, le ROPE soutient les enfants et les jeunes, en français et en anglais. Aucun autre organisme communautaire n’a la portée ou la capacité voulue pour offrir ce type de programmes, indispensables aux écoles de la région.

Le ROPE est fier de s’associer à JA Canada pour offrir les programmes JA à Ottawa. JA s’est donné pour mission de motiver les jeunes et de les aider à se préparer à l’économie mondiale et à y prospérer. Les programmes d’entrepreneuriat de JA permettent aux élèves d’acquérir une expérience pratique en entrepreneuriat. Les jeunes travaillent avec des mentors de la communauté des affaires d’Ottawa afin de mettre en place des stratégies leur permettant d’exploiter leur propre entreprise.

**Administrateur/administratrice du programme JA**

Nous sommes à la recherche d’une personne motivée, polyvalente, dotée d’un esprit d’équipe et d’un grand sens de l’organisation. Le ou la titulaire du poste d'administrateur de programme sera responsable de l'administration des données du programme JA Ottawa.

Cette personne est dotée d’un grand sens de l’organisation, d’un souci du détail et sait gérer son temps. Pour assumer les fonctions de ce poste avec succès, il faut de solides compétences interpersonnelles, des capacités éprouvées en résolution de problèmes et pouvoir mener plusieurs tâches de front. Ce poste dépend du directeur de JA Ottawa.

**Principales responsabilités**
- Aider les bénévoles à s'inscrire à des formations, répondre à des demandes de renseignements, dresser le profil de bénévoles, préparer le calendrier de travail des bénévoles et placer ces derniers, en plus de gérer les inscriptions en ligne.
