**WHO ARE YOU**
Riva is seeking a dynamic Content Marketing Manager to become an integral part of our marketing team. In this role, you will assume a pivotal position in orchestrating and advancing our content marketing strategies and initiatives to maximize prospect and customer engagement and optimize content performance. A natural storyteller, you have a passion for listening and learning and the ability to draw out key details for engaging stories. You strive for excellence, have a keen eye for detail, and ability to collaborate effectively with customers, external agencies, and internal cross-functional teams.
**WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING**
This is a dynamic, multi-faceted role reporting directly to the VP of Marketing, with a primary emphasis on content strategy, planning, and activation. You will be the linchpin unifying all our content and campaign activities. As a proficient project manager, you excel in orchestrating seamless program planning and execution, ensuring alignment with our strategic objectives. Your role extends beyond content creation; you're adept at content performance management, utilizing data-driven insights to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of our campaigns. Leveraging key performance indicators (KPIs) and analytics, you play a crucial role in shaping the direction, themes, and activation channels for future content initiatives, contributing significantly to our overall marketing success.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive content marketing strategy and plan aligned with overall business goals
- Work with product, product marketing, prospecting, and sales teams to develop content tailored to address the needs and pain points of target audiences, industries, and personas
- Plan and implement effective content activation and distribution strategies to ensure our content reaches the right audience at the right time through the right channel
- Collaborate and interview customers to create customer case studies and use case scenarios
- Participate in campaign planning and execution, work with external vendors, create campaign content maps, and identify opportunities for new content creation
- Work with the web team to create content that is optimized for SEO to drive traffic to the Riva website and improve prospect and customer engagement and conversion rates
- Stay on top of latest content creation and AI trends to optimize content creation and process efficiencies
- Create content that engages target audiences in various formats (web content, blog and social posts, whitepapers, case studies, eBooks, videos, infographics, and more)
- Ensure that all content is aligned with brand, product, and persona messaging
- Work with external PR (public relations) agencies and resources to ensure all internal content is aligned with overall PR themes and topics
- Collaborate with 3rd parties like analysts, industry influencers, partners etc. to generate co-branded content and ensure we’re effectively activating 3rd party content
- Monitor and analyze the performance of content marketing initiatives and closely track content performance KPIs
- Collaborate with marketing, prospecting, sales, customer success, and other internal teams on key strategic initiatives
**WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE**
- 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS environment with 2+ years in content development
- Deep knowledge of B2B marketing content strategies and plans
- Proven track record developing content with high engagement and conversion rates for B2B audiences
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in interpreting data
- Proven ability to clearly and graciously communicate and receive feedback
- A bachelor’s degree in business or marketing or equivalent experience
- Exceptional organization and project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
