**Salary**: $2,345.14 to $3,076.28 bi-weekly ($61,208- $80,291/year)
Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction is the government’s solution provider and supports the significant events in Albertans’ lives, like having a child, getting married, mourning the loss of a loved one, getting a driver’s license, or buying a home.
The Corporate Registry Unit is responsible for the registration of corporations, extra-provincial corporaitons, cooperatives, non profit companies and societies.
**Role Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Supervisor of Corporate Registries and as a member of the Corporate Registry business unit, you will be part of a team responsible for Corporate Registry program governance, policy development, project work and administration including liaison with other business areas, government departments, stakeholders, the general public, and other jurisdictions.
Your knowledge of the Corporate Registry related legislation, policy and procedures and challenges will enable you to consult with the registry agents and members of the public to address a variety of issues and questions. As a Corporate Registry Specialist, you will contribute to various program/project initiatives and provide help desk support to resolve technical and business problems experienced by Registry agents and users of the CORES system. Your success will be based on your strong customer service focus and ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and challenging environment. Exceptional skills in communication, prioritization, problem solving, and decision making are essential in completing requests from the public and private sectors in an efficient manner.
**The responsibilities for this position include but not limited to**:
- Protect the integrity of the Corporate Registry System (CORES), completes performance monitoring of filings completed by accredited professionals in strict adherence to legislative requirements, policy and performance standards.
- Directly provide examination and registration of non-profit transactions to members of the Alberta non-profit community.
- Complete complex and precedent setting filings, not contracted to private sector service providers.

- Provide support to internal and external stakeholders of CORES.
**The incumbent is required to have**:
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Consultation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills to facilitate resolution of complex issues.
- Judgement, decision making and effective relationship building skills.
- Proficiency in the use of various word processing tools and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to work independently; attention to detail, excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage dynamic and diverse stakeholders
- Expertise in handling competing priorities.

**Qualifications**:
University graduation in a related field, or equivalent as described below:
Equivalency: Directly related education or experience considered on the basis of:
- 1 year of education for 1 year of experience; or
- 1 year of experience for 1 year of education
