Sprott Shaw Language College is an international ESL school in downtown Vancouver seeking a staff member for our busy Admissions Department.

Admissions receives, processes and stores all documents related to admissions for all our campuses including, but not limited to letters of acceptance, invoices, accommodation information, CO-OP and student insurance.

We are looking for someone who is positive, very detail oriented, good with numbers, responsible and able to work well under pressure.

A background in international education, or some type of admissions work is recommended but not required. Some experience with international students or ESL speakers would be helpful.
- The following list is not meant to be exhaustive; The following tasks generally distinguish the role of the admissions assistant. _

**REGISTRATIONS**
- Request accommodation information
- Process Registrations

**REVISIONS**
- Revise invoices/LOA upon request (change start date, program, add/delete items.)

**PAYMENT**
- Process payments and send PAID invoices and letter of acceptances to staff or agents
- File copies in student files and
- Request commission payment when necessary
- Communicate with other campuses (send a copy of payment)

**OTHER**
- Update no show students, delays and cancellations
- Process extensions, program transfers, campus transfersfor current students
- Process refunds

**MISCELLANEOUS**
- Communicate with homestay coordinator
