Product Specialist

_**Pride Marine Group is currently hiring an on-site Product Specialist for our Kingston Location in Ontario. This is a SALES role.**_

**What You Bring to the Role**
- Professionalism, tact, diplomacy, and sensitivity to portray the company in a positive manner
- Ability to maintain a high level of product and service knowledge
- Natural ability to speak and engage with customers
**What You’ll Do**
- Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of boats required
- Successfully promote sales to existing clients
- Identify clients needs and assist them in purchasing of new/preowned product
- Follow proper sales and quoting processes
- Overcome objections of prospective customers
- Adapt communication style in order to deliver information effectively to a range of individuals
- Build and maintain ongoing awareness of new products and services, competitor activities, and other research
- Develop and build relationships with new clients and develop additional contacts within existing clients
- Handle customer complaints as they arise, escalating to the appropriate individual as deemed necessary
- Keep up-to-date records on sales calls, customer contacts, and details of meetings
- Work with Location Manager and Director of Sales to create and execute yearly sales plan
- All other duties as assigned
**What We’d Like From You**
- Experience in sales is considered an asset
- Pleasure Craft Operators Card required
- Valid driver's license required
- Able to work irregular hours including weekends during peak periods
- Regular travel to sales meetings and customer appointments outside of primary work location
- Occasional overtime required during peak season

Pay: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
