**Role Overview**
The SEO/SEM Specialist will develop and execute strategies to increase the visibility and traffic of our website via organic and paid search. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of both search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and other platforms.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **SEO**:

- **Keyword Analysis**: Conduct in-depth keyword research to guide content and website optimization.
- **On-Page SEO**: Optimize web content, including meta tags, headlines, and images.
- **Off-Page SEO**: Implement strategies to enhance domain authority through quality link building.
- **Backlink Building**: Acquire high-quality backlinks from reputable and relevant sources.
- **Analytics and Reporting**: Use tools like Google Analytics to track performance and optimize strategy.
- **SEM**:

- **Campaign Management**: Plan, execute, and manage SEM campaigns across various platforms including Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Reddit Ads.
- **Budget and Bid Management**: Manage budgets and bidding strategies to maximize ROI.
- **Performance Analysis**: Monitor and report on campaign performance, utilizing data to optimize spend and performance.
- **A/B Testing**: Implement A/B testing to continually refine ad effectiveness and conversion rates.
- **Optional**:

- **Blog Writing**: Ability to write SEO-friendly content for blogs and articles is a plus.

**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in SEO and SEM with 5+ years of experience demonstrating a strong track record of successful campaigns.
- Google Ads Advanced Certifications in Search, Display, Video, Shopping Ads, Apps and Measurement
- Expertise in managing PPC campaigns across Google, and familiarity with social media advertising on platforms like Meta and Reddit.
- Proficient in SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) and SEM tools (e.g., Google AdWords, Facebook Business Manager).
- Skilled in utilizing tools like Google Merchant Center and Google Search Console for in-depth analysis of online marketing data, identifying trends, troubleshooting issues, and making data-driven decisions to enhance visibility and improve e-commerce performance.

- Knowledge of current SEO practices and marketing trends.
- Understanding of HTML/CSS and web development as it relates to SEO.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
