HR and Office Coordinator

**RESPONSIBILIBIES**:
**Office Management**
- Organize all office systems and processes, and ensure that employees have any equipment, supplies, or other resources needed to do their jobs effectively
- Oversee stock and ordering of office supplies, coffee, lunches, etc.
- Coordinate renovation, maintenance, and repairs to ensure completion on time and on budget
- Work with external vendors for internet, telephony, IT services, cleaning, and others
- Organize and lead company’s many social activities
- Coordinate onsite and offsite meetings with internal staff and clients
- Manage travel and conferences
- Ensure that employees follow the company’s regulations and policies
- Act as a backup for shipping/receiving/export control as well as assisting Accounting with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and payroll when needed
**Human Resources**
- Collaborate closely with Head of Human Resources to manage day-to-day employee administration
- Participate in recruitment initiatives, including:
- Drafting Job Descriptions with the hiring manager
- Maintaining our corporate employment branding online and on social media
- Attending career fairs at colleges and universities
- Manage administration of Group Health and Dental, and other benefits plans
- Manage and execute employee rewards and recognition programs
- Lead all aspects of Health and Safety within the organization
**Qualifications**:
- A post-secondary degree or diploma, preferably in Administration
- 3-5 years of experience working in Administration, preferably with experience in Human Resources
- Experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite of tools
- Proven ability to manage multiple deliverables at the same time while being organized and a self-starter
- Experience working with external vendors and negotiating price
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding organization and time management skills
- Polite, friendly, and professional
- Must be able to obtain Canadian government security clearance (essential)
- Must be bilingual (French and English)
**Salary**: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
