**The Role**:
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate People & Culture Generalist to join our team. This will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive workplace culture and maximizing team happiness. You will be responsible for various P&C functions, including recruitment, team onboarding, performance management, overseeing policy implementation & compliance with labor laws and regulations. Your efforts will help promote a culture of inclusivity, engagement, and professional growth.
**Responsibilities**:
- ** Team Happiness**: Assist in the development and implementation of strategies to foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive work environment. Champion initiatives that enhance employee satisfaction and well-being.
- ** Recognition & Celebration**: Participate in initiatives to enhance team happiness and retention. Organize and support team-building activities and create a culture of appreciation and continuous recognition. Including weekly team celebration events and 4 seasonal all-team events per year.
- ** Culture Building**: Work with the People & Culture team to strengthen and evolve our company culture, ensuring it reflects our values and enhances the team experience. Continuously promote alignment with the Gibbons Way.
- ** Team Engagement**: Serve as a point of contact for team members regarding P&C policies, procedures, and concerns. Address and resolve employee issues and conflicts in a timely and professional manner. Promote a positive work environment through engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.
- ** Diversity & Inclusion**: Promote diversity and inclusion across all levels of the organization. Implement policies and practices that foster a welcoming and equitable workplace. Serve as a point of contact for team members requiring supporting immigration documents.
- ** Administration**: Maintain team records and P&C databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Generate reports and analyze data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
**Requirements**:

- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to creating a supportive work environment.
**Preferred Experience Skills**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is desirable.
- Strong understanding of P&C practices, labor laws, and employee relations is desirable.
- Proficient in HRIS software is desirable. Experience with HRIS systems.
- Certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus but not essential.
**Salary and Team Perks**:
- $60,000 - 65,000 annual salary based on experience and qualifications.
