**Sr. MSSP Specialist Orchestration and Automation**

The Sr. MSSP Specialist Orchestration and Automation is responsible for the successful delivery of complex technology-enabled projects and services to Mid-Market and Enterprise customers. The Networking Engineer will work with clients throughout the solution lifecycle to plan, design and deploy technology solutions that meet aggressive delivery schedules, complex technical specifications, and high-level requirements.

You will be responsible for leveraging diverse technologies and take an automation first approach to strive towards improving the efficiency, effectiveness, and accuracy of the Arctiq MSSP service.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Assists with strategic planning, driving improvements and providing input on capabilities and methods for Automation and Orchestration in the MSSP.
- Assist with the design, engineering, deployment, and maintenance of custom automation playbooks and processes
- Use forensic, incident response, and process expertise to respond to and investigate system, service, or network attacks and breaches alone and as part of a team.
- Plan and build automation and event detection into the Arctiq MSSP.
- Work with customers on investigations.
- Work as part of a team to respond to security incidents.
- Provide excellent quality of Customer Service.
- Understand the overall processes and procedures of the Arctiq SOC and the relevance of the procedures to the managed client.
- Work non-traditional hours and respond to on-call requests in a 24 x 7 service environment.
- Have a strong background working in the IT and IT Security arena.
- A solid foundational understanding of networking principals, security best practices and programming is required.
- Security+, CISSP, GIAC, OSCP certifications
- Security Experience: 2 or more years’ experience working in Managed Security Services area.
- Have a bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data processing or have demonstration of equivalent experience.
- Compelling written and verbal communicator

**Preferred Skills/Experience**:

- Experience with platform administration on Linux and Windows, computer networks, experience with AWS or Azure and virtualization.
- Practical experience with many of today’s security tool sets (IPS/IDS, AV, Firewalls, Switches, etc) is a must
- Experience with Python or PowerShell, CSS/HTML and JavaScript.
- Strong critical thinking and technical diagnostic abilities.
- Ability to work in project teams and complete individual tasks in a timely manner.
- A sense of personal accountability.
