We are a start up currently in the early stages of development. Involved in the trucking industry and real estate. Currently we are looking for an individual to take care of our book keeping and provide financial advice as we continue to grow.
Summary
Accountant contributes to the overall success of the Company by assisting with all financial responsibilities.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for bookkeeping and pay roll
- Do financial cost analysis
- Input information for accounts receivable, accounts payable and billing
- Collaborate with office staff to ensure all work completed and inputted into the system is correct
- Communicate with customers an employees
- Being able to organize and manage people with an polite attitude
Qualifications & Skills
- Certification in accounting, finance, or relevant field
- Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
- Experience with customer service
- Great attention to detail
- Can work independently and within a team
- Excellent organizing abilities
- Self-motivated, organized, hard-working, and detail-oriented
- Knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop is an asset
Please do keep in mind a lot of changes to one’s job will occur as we continue to grow.
As an assistant there will be general labor involved.
Hours: Monday - Friday part time. Will become full time 9-5 for full time.
**Salary**: $16.00-$20.00 per hour
