**Manager, Finance S/4 HANA Program Lead**:
**Position Purpose**
Reporting to the Manager, Financial Systems, the Manager, Finance S/4 HANA Program Lead is a strong contributor who thrives in a fast-paced, cross-functional, complex environment, a leader with strong financial knowledge, a sound systems background, and excellent analytical skills. This term position will have the primary requirement of acting as the business lead tasked with synthesizing unique finance needs and inform changes to the CRD’s Finance processes as part of the multi-phased SAP S/4 HANA project. This position involves analyzing complex financial transactions and providing internal customer service, leadership and guidance related to financial processes for the District. Leveraging your deep expertise in financial reporting, processes, and systems, you articulate the system development roadmap and landscape, drive its execution, and maximize the value from all our Finance technology and automation investments. Acts as a Finance liaison for the Information and Technology (IT) division and conveys timely and transparent communications. This position is responsible for managing, understanding, and leveraging Finance data and management systems to enhance operational effectiveness, developing standard/customized evaluation systems and performance measures, and ensuring effective decision-making. This role is responsible for providing documentation outlining existing and post-implementation business processes, business requirements, and reporting requirements. The position provides effective ongoing, transparent, and timely communication of project status including impacts and risks to enable alignment across the division.

**Key Accountabilities / Position Outcomes**
- Acts as a partner with Finance disciplines and Information Technology to support project management principles, methodologies, and approaches.
- Works with team members and Finance process owners to analyze, recommend, develop, and implement solutions to meet strategic, usability, performance, reliability, and control requirements.
- Performs gap analysis and cost benefit analysis between existing systems/processes to align with best practices to recommend technology solutions that meet business requirements.
- Develop/configure and review project deliverables for completeness of thought and consistency of approach. Ensure standards, procedures, and methodologies in the delivery life cycle are followed and appropriately documented.
- Works collaboratively with the Finance team to forecast upcoming Finance project needs.
- Works with IT staff, provides support, guidance, and advice to management and staff on the system implementation and project progress.
- Works collaboratively with internal clients and stakeholders to identify process workflows for Finance systems.
- Uses all available information appropriately to guide decisions and negotiations to meet the implementation objectives.
- Plans and communicates Finance project resourcing based on project phasing and daily operational work requirements which includes leading project system and process activities of Finance SME’s.
- Validates, maintains, and enhances the SAP Finance Model defining requirements, supporting system implementation, maintenance testing and recommending improvements to keep the system current and relevant to drive organizational success.
- Translates research objectives into an operational plan.
- Develops and delivers project and system related training and information sessions as needed.
- Develops and delivers current state and post-implementation business process, system configuration and customization documentation.
- Performs other related duties as required and follows all CRD policies, procedures, and standards.

**Qualifications**
Professional accounting designation (CPA) and post-secondary degree in a related field (commerce, finance, accounting, etc). Minimum of 6 years’ related experience in a finance or accounting environment, with experience in analyzing and reporting of financial information, along with budgeting, forecasting, and risk management. Related experience would include 5 years’ working with SAP and 4 years’ experience in conducting financial statement audits. Supervisory experience is considered an asset. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
