The Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board (DPCDSB) is a dynamic Catholic school board committed to the delivery of quality educational programs and services from a Catholic faith perspective. DPCDSB, one of Ontario’s largest school boards in Ontario, is comprised of approximately 73,000 students enrolled in 151 schools (125 elementary and 26 secondary) throughout the diverse GTA municipalities of Mississauga, Brampton, Caledon, and Orangeville. DPCDSB employs approximately 8,000 faculty and staff to deliver and support its Catholic educational mission.
Position Summary
Under the direction of the Supervisor/Designate, this position is responsible for providing various administrative support functions. This position is responsible for maintaining an organized and professional office environment to ensure efficient day to day operations of the school are met and the procedures and policies of the Board are followed consistently. This position requires the ability to work without direct supervision, and may involve overseeing assigned responsibilities to other secretaries. Maintaining confidentiality is a requirement of this position. **Basic Qualifications**:
**The basic qualifications for this position include**:
Secondary School Diploma
Four (4) years relevant experience
Proficient in the use of Board provided computer-based technologies to create, manipulate, store and retrieve information, and communicate with others
Experience with Student Information Systems, OnSIS, WebTRACS, Supply Chain process, Megamation, Cash Net)
First Aid Certification
Knowledge in Accounting
Effective communication skills
And
Evidence from previous work history of satisfactory attendance and punctuality
