**Job Description**:
**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Director of Sales Enablement, the Learning and Development Manager designs, creates and monitors learning strategies and programs that benefit employees and support company growth. He´ll ensure that strategies are consistent, engaging, and effective in the development of the selling (product knowledge, sales methods,..) and soft (e.g. interpersonal) skills needed to become a successful member of the sales organization.

Curricula should facilitate and promote the sharing of knowledge and be based on industry best practices. Curricula and elements thereof may be designed to be executed remotely through eLearning, podcasts, viewing and other medium, as well as on-site such as bootcamps, face-to-face workshops/roleplays, etc.

Curriculum content may originate from inside or outside of Denodo, though for example, specialized learning sources such as Udemy, LinkedIn Learning, or Coursera.

**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Designs and executes sustainable role-based learning and certification strategies according to the various activities, roles and personas for internal employees and potentially customers and business partners
- Is responsible for the design, building, execution, monitoring and documentation of learning and development management and related activity governance processes
- Identifies the skills objectives required to support the various roles, the skills gaps and the priorities of filling skills gaps
- Designs and delivers various learning methods and styles across the company (eLearning, coaching, mentoring,.)
- Delivers an effective induction on-boarding program to support retention of new talent, encourage a smooth transition into the business and helps newcomers become effective quicky.
- Helps managers to identify opportunities to address skills gaps and promote skills development
- Measures enablement progress and attainment across departments, regions and teams in order to best advise on actions to close skill gaps
- Measures the effectiveness of enablement initiatives and identifies opportunities for improvement in methods and tools
- Analyses and adjusts for the impacts of the internal (product evolution, marketing strategy), external (business, economic, social, ESG,) and competitive environment on enablement strategy
- Designs for the delivery and consumption of learning in the different formats and channels used by the organization, including eLearning, face-to-face, workshop, podcast, webinar, regular or ad-hoc events, and other channels
- Defines and creates the guides and supporting materials required to promote and execute enablement opportunities
- Curates learning content internally and externally for the purpose of supporting enablement objectives and closing skill gaps
- Engages with the internal HR organizations to identify synergies, global requirements and opportunities for collaboration
- Manages the partnerships required with external learning and content partner providers
- Develops and coaches team members on the activity of learning development
- Consults regularly with the business stakeholders on requirements and performance of the training and information content delivered in order to improve the quality and efficiency of their delivery
- Monitors and measures (dashboard and continuous) performance, attendance, effectiveness, impact, resourcing, etc. required in the implementation of learning events
- Documents methods, processes and best practices

**Qualifications**:

- BSc or higher degree in Computer Science, Marketing or other relative qualification
- 5+ years of professional experience
