Assistant Property Manager

**Overview**
**Duties**
- Assist the Property Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the property, including maintenance, leasing, and tenant relations.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to property management activities using Yardi and other property management software.
- Handle phone inquiries with professionalism, providing excellent customer service and addressing tenant concerns promptly.
- Support sales efforts by conducting property tours and showcasing available units to prospective tenants.
- Negotiate lease agreements and renewals while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems to track interactions with tenants and prospects.
- Coordinate maintenance requests through CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and ensure timely follow-up on service issues.
- Perform administrative duties such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports for management review.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with Yardi or similar property management software is a plus.
- Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive relationships with tenants.
- Proficient in administrative tasks with strong organizational skills to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service.
- Basic knowledge of office procedures and sales techniques is advantageous.
