**Technical Competencies**
- Intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint
- Previous Event Planning experience will be considered an asset.
**Responsibilities**
- **General**_
- Update social media (including but not limited to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter) content and posts
- Website Content Management (including weekly review and amendments, as necessary)
- E-news Preparation
- Maintenance of paper and electronic files
- Assist ED with the administration of member recruitment.
- Fulfill necessary functions from time-to-time not outlined in this job description.
- **Meetings / Events & Publications**_
- Provide support for all official business including all Board related elections, events, meetings, and educational offerings. This may include organizing meeting space, food & beverage, managing virtual delivery platforms, liaising with speakers, registration, administrative assistance, correspondence, and record-keeping.
- Assist the ED with the preparation, compilation and distribution of all publications, position papers, and other written correspondence.
- Prepare and distribute timely updates to board members and the general membership as required.
- **Association Record Keeping**_
- Maintain the AMS database.
- Assist ED with the preparation and distribution of Board agendas and minutes.
- Assist ED with the scheduling of BOMA Nova Scotia Board & Committee meetings.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 18-20 per week
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
