Sea Power Marine Centre is a boat service, repair, and parts company that has been operating in Sidney for over 35 years. We pride ourselves on providing outstanding, reliable service to our customers and we believe in not only powering boats but also empowering boaters.

With two locations and a sister company, Sea Power has 30 employees ranging from marine technicians to office staff. The Receptionist and Client Relations Coordinator will work alongside other office staff at our Harbour Road location at Van Isle Marina.

Qualifications and Desired Assets:

- Education and Experience: _
- Education using Microsoft Suite is an asset
- Technical:_
- Excellent proficiency in Google Suite
- Good proficiency in Microsoft suite - especially Excel
- Experience in Quickbooks is an asset
- Other General Skills:_
- Awareness or willingness to learn of the marine industry
- Capacity to adapt and learn quickly in a fast paced environment

**Job Description**:

- Customer relationship skills is a must
- Facilitates our customer relationship management system
- Ensures that Sea Power is following up with customers and giving them updates on their jobs
- Answering phones and directing calls to appropriate person or taking messages
- Ensure that customer profiles are updated with all necessary information and create new customer profiles as needed
- Supporting service managers with service orders and invoices
- This includes tasks such as updating our current work order board once a week and aiding the service managers with creating invoices
- Enter daily timesheets for all technicians
- Each technician gives a daily update on what they worked on that day, our receptionist then inputs this data into Quickbooks
- Handling payments and invoices
- Includes cash payments, petty cash and employee expenses as required
- Update payroll spreadsheet with employee hours following company and BC guidelines regarding overtime, vacation and sick time
- Helping to run the office smoothly both for the present and future
- This includes tasks such as general office upkeep and proactively maintaining the office space

**Salary**: From $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
