Accounts Executive

The Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new customers and generating business. They will follow up on leads generated from internal and external sources, by phone and in person.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 2 years experience in freight forwarding and logistics industry
- Valid driver’s license
- Relevant college diploma or higher considered asset
**Day to Day responsibilities include**:
- Generate and qualify leads, cold calling and secure new business and maintain close relationships with customers
- Will be responsible for customer service/rate quotations
- Sales to produce weekly/monthly reports and attend regular sales meetings to discuss strategies and prospects
- Keep up to date with market information and logistics knowledge
- Ensure customer satisfaction
- Excellent communication skills and self motivation
- Perform other duties as assigned by the business development manager
