Position Description:
As a Business Development Representative (BDR), your efforts and success have a direct impact on the organic growth of both Bridgenext and your customers. You will seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas OR be a self-motivated individual with a strong desire to learn, grow and succeed. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. **What you’ll do**:
- Generation and management of a consistent flow of sales leads for Bridgenext
- Working with Bridgenext sales to establish relationships with new clients, vendors and joint go to market plans, prospecting, and creation of account plans
- Communicating with prospects that are generated through campaigns and external lead sources through the prospecting stage of an opportunity
- Transitioning opportunities to the appropriate sales or delivery individual at the point an opportunity is semi-qualified
- Researching target companies and individuals, and networking internally and externally to identify new prospect leads
- Assisting with the development and maintenance of sales and marketing materials
- Maintenance of all sales, marketing and pipeline management tools to ensure client and opportunity data is current and accurate
- Active participation in all required training and development needs
- Other responsibilities as needed
**Workplace**:Hybrid model. Working from a home office and travelling as needed for sales meetings and networking events
**What you bring**:
- 2+ years of experience with new account sales in IT services and/or an undergraduate Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, technology or communications plus specific experience which includes:
- Strong desire to learn, grow and succeed
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving goals
- Competent CRM and Microsoft Office skills including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Enthusiasm to develop new relationships with customers and the ability to translate client business needs into solutions
- Demonstrated ability to overcome obstacles, and articulate ideas clearly and concisely in a variety of settings
- Solid understanding of common business practices in the areas of sales cycles, customer service, accounting, pricing, purchasing, shipping, and billing
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn concepts related to IT Services solutions
- Ability to accept feedback and adapt to it
- Excellent observation, research, verbal and written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Positive and outgoing personality with ability to relate well to others
- Ability to work both independently and effectively in a team environment
- Entrepreneurial and collaborative spirit
