**About DataTrue**

**Position Overview**

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at DataTrue, your primary focus will be to drive the growth of our cloud-based platform by identifying and qualifying new leads. You'll be responsible for generating sales opportunities through outbound prospecting and nurturing inbound leads, setting the stage for the Senior Sales team to close deals. You’ll be working with decision-makers across various industries, helping them understand how DataTrue can solve their data compliance challenges.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Qualify and nurture inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns.
- Research and identify key decision-makers at target companies.
- Attend trade shows, webinars, and events to network and generate qualified leads.
- Schedule meetings between prospective customers and DataTrue’s senior sales team.
- Maintain a clear pipeline of qualified leads and track communications in our CRM.
- Prioritize and follow up on leads to meet sales development targets.

**Required Qualifications**
- Proven experience in a solutions-based sales process.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to build relationships.
- Experience with territory management, including prospecting and account planning.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.
- Ability to meet or exceed sales development quotas and KPIs.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently in a remote environment.
- Previous experience in B2B sales, particularly in a technical or SaaS environment, is a plus.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in Enterprise B2B sales or sales development, particularly in a SaaS or technical setting.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, qualifying leads, and setting meetings with Fortune 500 companies in US and Canada.
- Familiarity with the data privacy, compliance, or tech industry is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, distributed team environment.
- Strong resilience and persistence in overcoming objections and closing deals.
