**Title**: Manager, Health Systems Reporting
**Salary**: $94,623 - $111,321 - $128,020 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week
**Location**: Anywhere in BC

**About the role**
As the Manager, Health Systems Reporting, you will lead the development, implementation and continuous quality improvement of health systems utilization and population health monitoring for First Nations Communities and provides strategic direction related to trends in health status, healthcare utilization and related risk behaviours with respect to community health programs, with emphasis on the Health Systems Matrix and Provincial, Regional and Community reporting. In collaboration with the Health Surveillance Manager, the Health Systems Reporting Manager will lead the development and dissemination of comprehensive Health Report Cards and support the integration of this knowledge into divisional program responses (i.e. evidence-informed decision making). The position manages a diverse team of Data Analysts and Epidemiologists. Some travel is required in this role (approximately twice per quarter).

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Post-secondary education in Public Health, Epidemiology or a related field, or an approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Considerable and relevant experience in Indigenous health with leading, supervising, motivating and coaching a team of professionals, fostering team work, a positive work space, employee engagement and development.
- Experience working in a fast paced and evolving environment with a concentration on complex health issues
- Experience working with First Nations is an asset
- Knowledge of initiatives and advances in Aboriginal health programming in other countries.
- Knowledge of international health organizations and issues, and their relevance and impact on the Canadian health system
- Ability to demonstrate effective leadership skills and inspires a shared vision for the strategic development of disease surveillance as a core public health function
- Ability to employ a holistic vision of health and wellness while utilizing multiple methodologies in development of analysis plans, processes and systems

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours.
Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements.

The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.

As a health and wellness organization, the FNHA has aligned with the Provincial Public Health Order released on October 14, 2021. We have a mandatory COVID-19 vaccination policy for all employees at First Nations Health Authority. This policy requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
