**Hours**: 8am to 4pm, 8:30am to 4:30pm, or 9:00am to 5:00pm
**Location**: 711-1166 Alberni St, Vancouver
**Bargaining Unit**:PSAC (Public Service Alliance of Canada)

**About the role**
As Health Benefits Assessor, you will review, assess, and adjudicate First Nations Health Benefits requests. This role will process payments and client reimbursements, conduct analysis and provide recommendations regarding exceptions and appeals, provide program information to key stakeholders, and maintain records and systems.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Grade 12, including completion of one year of post-secondary education, plus one (1) year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Knowledge of First Nations social, health, economic, and political issues.
- Ability to provide information and advice directly to clients and providers.
- Knowledge of data entry, manipulation, and retrieval techniques using a variety of automated systems and software.

If selected for employment, you will be required to provide proof of vaccination by providing a copy of your BC Vaccination Card Passport with the QR code.
