**About the Role**

Reporting to the Product Owner - Training, the Manager, AI Workforce Readiness will develop and lead AI workforce programming efforts with partners across Canada to advance AI skills development and literacy, and the future of work. This position plays an important role in driving program buy-in and participation, while ensuring the effective deployment of program resources.

Reporting to the Product Owner - Training, the Manager, AI Workforce Readiness is a key member of the Training Product Team, actively contributing to the execution of Amii’s commitment to nurture an AI-literate workforce.

The position focuses on achieving excellence in four main accountabilities:

**Required Skills / Expertise**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- In partnership with the Product Owner - Training, lead the development, deployment and maintenance of AI Workforce Readiness programming
- Lead procurement efforts to identify and contract research partners to provide evidence-based insights and research on the future of work and the current landscape of AI skills development and AI literacy
- Lead business development efforts to engage with and recruit organizations to participate in AI Workforce Readiness programming
- Establish and manage the relationships between Amii and participating organizations
- Acts as an ambassador for Amii at industry events, conferences, and meetings, promoting the organization’s mission and partnership opportunities
- Collaborate with Product Owner - Training and other team members to ensure programming efforts align with other AI literacy initiatives and programming
- Encourage and identify problem-solving approaches to work while acting as a collaborator
- Provides supervision to junior team members by overseeing and refining their work and managing approval processes as required
- Mentors direct reports on career development and progression, drawing lessons for coaching opportunities
- Fosters a collaborative work environment by facilitating teamwork and the exchange of ideas among team members

**Required Qualifications**:

- Post-Secondary Degree in Business, Communication, Education, or related field
- 5+ years experience working with various Post-Secondary Institutions, stakeholder management, and program delivery
- 3+ years experience in a leadership capacity in industry or Post-Secondary Institutions
- Experience with a variety of educational technologies and online learning tools (nice to have)
- Experience in public speaking and facilitation (nice to have)
