**The Position**
The AI Tools Specialist will spearhead the integration and maintenance of AI-driven solutions, enhancing the success of our marketing and advertising strategies. This role demands a proactive approach to research, analysis, and deployment of AI utilities which foster automation, cost reduction, and service optimization. Ensuring our tools remain aligned with the agency's mission, while also empowering our team through training and fostering a culture rooted in data-driven excellence; through their expertise, they will champion the implementation of AI innovations, stay attuned to industry shifts, and solidify our agency's competitive stance. They will be a pivotal force in modernizing, elevating, and growing our ability to deliver outstanding clients results. In addition this role will be closely tied to identifying new business opportunities both aligned with the agency’s core service offerings and beyond.
**Overall Accountability**
- Monitor and update tools to ensure their efficacy and relevance
- Stay updated on industry advancements in AI tools and technologies
- Provide regular reports on tool performance and recommended improvements
- Facilitate learning and training
- Identify new business opportunities with AI for the agency either aligned to core services or other
**Your responsibilities as an AI Tools Specialist at zag**:
- Conduct comprehensive research on emerging AI tools and technologies within the marketing, advertising, and production sectors
- Develop implementation strategies for AI tools, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Oversee the integration of selected tools into the agency's existing technology stack
- Liaise with vendors for troubleshooting, updates, and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and propose AI-driven solutions
- Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on tool-related matters
- Measure and report the impact of implemented AI tools on efficiency, cost, and overall performance
**Your strengths and qualifications**:
- Minimum of 1-3 years preferred of experience in a role involving AI tool management, software integration, or IT project management
- Familiarity with the marketing and advertising technology ecosystem
- Proficiency in troubleshooting software and integrating tools
- Proven experience in researching, analyzing, and implementing AI tools and technologies
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Self-motivated, with a keen interest in staying ahead of industry trends
- Management skills including basic business and financial competence
- Strong communication skills
- Time management and outstanding organization
**Key relationships**:
- Reports to VP Operations
- Will work closely with all agency teams
- Will correspond with vendors and external partners for specialized services
