**Job Description**:
What You’ll Be Doing

This National Coordinator is an important role on the CIBC Private Banking team. The primary purpose of the role is to provide support, typically from a strategic perspective, to the MD and Head of Private Banking. This role is responsible for monitoring key projects, programs and/or deliverables for Private Banking; assess impacts to strategic initiatives by identifying potential risk and mitigants, and escalating where necessary; and reporting on progress to leadership.

How You’ll Succeed

Provide administrative support - You will track and conduct follow up on Private Banking business initiatives to support effective implementation, working with the Private Banking regional leaders and partners to ensure timelines and reporting requirements are met. Acts as a single point of contact for coordinating all regional leader activities and assisting in the solution of Private Banking escalations as they relate to frontline/client issues, competitive recruits, year-end reporting and administrative support. You will manage the day-to-day administrative activities, assist with the creation of presentations to provide updates on strategic initiatives to senior leadership and conduct research and analysis on behalf of the of the Managing Director and Head of Private Banking as it relates to special projects that may influence strategic and/or operational initiatives. Working closely with the regional leaders across Private Banking to identify key client wins as a result of our integrated offer, you will build strong partnerships with key support groups and with a variety of business partners. You will provide monthly competitive recruiting updates to our senior leadership team.

Collaboration - This job interacts on a regular basis with regional leaders, coordinators and managers of branch operations, as well as all levels of staff in CIBC including executives and senior management, in addition to all levels of staff including executives and senior management throughout CIBC. You will collaborate with partners when obtaining or exchanging information to meet job requirements, or when identifying, discussing and resolving business issues related to Private Banking. These partners include Finance, Human Resources, Branch Staffing, Compliance, Business Risk, Technology, National Marketing, Product, Corporate Real Estate and Training & Development.

Who You Are
- You have experience in. You have five years of experience in Canadian Private Banking and strong knowledge of key products and processes across cash, credit, investments and planning. You have strong organization and administrative skills at a senior level with the ability to handle a number of incoming requests and prioritize appropriately. You have developed influential skills sufficient to promote and elicit client cooperation and consensus in the acceptance of revised/new approaches and policies and have sound decision making skills.
