Spencer House is a community centre for those 50+ offering activities and services designed to enable older adults to live independently, contribute to their community, and maintain an active lifestyle. As we work to expand opportunities for working with broader demographics, we are thrilled to partner with Queen’s University and local older adults to establish Halifax’s first Oasis Aging-In-Place program.

The Oasis Halifax Program Coordinator and Community Connector will work directly with older adult members in a NORC to establish, implement, and co-coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Halifax Oasis project.
