**Description**:
The seminar is an optional co-requisite available to students participating in ARC490Y. It offers a critical consideration of ongoing design work for their respective Capstone Projects in a series of collaborative sessions, and allows students to advance aspects of their multidisciplinary designs through an architectural, urban or landscape design lens. This includes the creation of portfolio or multimedia content as a final stage of the design process.

The course will include group meetings, pinups and presentations, and independent design work.

**Estimated Enrollment**:Approx. 30 students per section

**Salary**:Sessional Lecturer I - $9,457.90; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $9,930.79; Sessional Lecturer II - $10,121.77; Sessional Lecturer II Long Term - $10,326.62; Sessional Lecturer III - $10,362.76; Sessional Lecturer III Long Term - $10,570.02 (inclusive of vacation pay)

Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.

**Minimum Qualifications**:M.Arch degree or other Graduate degree in Architecture preferred.

**Preferred Qualifications**:PhD (completed or in course) with a proven track record of teaching undergraduate and/or graduate level courses.

**Description of Duties**: Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations, and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions, and student contact hours.
