**Description**:
Introduction to contemporary printmaking that covers publishing to 3D printing. This course looks at the concept of copying and producing one of a kind artifacts. Drawing on both centuries old techniques and the most modern technologies, students will explore what it means to make an image in the contemporary moment.

**Class Schedule**:
P0101 - Monday & Wednesday Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm

**Sessional dates of appointment**: July 1, 2023 - August 31, 2023

**Estimate of the course enrolment**: Approximately 20 students per section

**Salary**:Sessional Lecturer I - $8,489.67; Sessional Lecturer I Long Term - $8,869.25; Sessional Lecturer II - $9,085.58; Sessional Lecturer III - $9,301.90

Please note that should rates stipulated in the collective agreement vary from rates stated in this posting, the rates stated in the collective agreement shall prevail.

**Minimum Qualifications**:MFA (or equivalent graduate degree) required with teaching experience. Strong exhibition history and currently exhibiting artist with expertise in contemporary printmaking strategies. Applicants will be asked to supply references.

**Description of Duties**: Preparation and delivery of course material; managing digital teaching materials, supervision of teaching assistants; preparation and delivery of assignments, tests, final examinations and deferred final examinations; marking of student work, submission of grades, dealing with student enquiries, appeals and petitions and student contact hours. Some management of printmaking studio and supplies is required.
