POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- **Customer focused**:

- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with leaders to create a partnership in the creation and implementation of recruitment initiatives
- Work closely with management to proactively identify current and upcoming staffing needs
- **Curious mindset**:

- Network and source for talent
- Determine most appropriate and cost-effective mediums/posting boards, job fairs, hiring events, educational institutions, associations, etc. for advertising opportunities
- Prepare, post job postings/advertisements, networking and sourcing for IT talent
- **Collaborative**:

- Partner with hiring managers to fully understand breadth of tech experience required for the role

**Adaptable**:

- Participate or take the lead in recruitment projects and/or process improvement initiatives
- Provide strategic recruitment support to all corporate level roles and front-line positions
- Stay up to date with changes in the IT and tech space to maintain relevant pipeline of talent

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Post Secondary Degree or Diploma is required. A Diploma or Certificate in Human Resources Management and/or CHRP is an asset, and a strong IT technical background is required.
- Minimum 5 years’ full cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high growth environment in a large or medium sized organization, recruiting for positions in technology is required.
- Strong recruitment experience recruiting for roles in Finance, Technology, Operations, Marketing, HR, Digital, Research and healthcare is preferred
- Minimum 5 years’ experience with Agile working environments and CI/CD methodologies, including support platforms such as Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines, Jenkins or Jira, BI tools and MicroStrategy.
- Proven track record in hiring for technical positions, such as Data Engineers, Developers, System Administrators, Network Administrators, Enterprise Architects, Business Analysts and other IT roles.
- Knowledge of relevant job boards, platforms, social media, and other channels is required
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to build and maintain consultative relationships with clients internal and external
- Proven ability to critically think through situations and take initiative and look beyond current role openings and identify a pipeline of talent through networking
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and strong business acumen
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook,
- Experience using an applicant tracking system (Taleo preferred)
- Ability to prioritize job responsibilities and manage high volumes of information effectively
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
- Availability to work flexible hours to meet recruitment needs is required
- Some travel to job fairs may be required
