**About the Team & Role**:
At TikTok, our Global Business Solutions (advertising) team plays a crucial role in generating revenue by promoting our advertising solutions, onboarding new clients, driving effective ad campaigns, and more. As the TikTok community grows at an unprecedented speed worldwide, our GBS team leads groundbreaking projects that are changing the landscape of the advertising industry in real-time. The Head of Strategic Partnerships is a client-facing role responsible for working closely with the sales verticals, content solutions, industry strategy, and marketing to conceptualize and sell industry tentpoles, cultural pulses, and truly TikTok activations. This person is a highly collaborative independent contributor & thought partner adept at developing new monetization opportunities that live at the intersection of TikTok's vibrant creator community, our product solutions, and advertiser goals. You will bring a depth of business understanding, media planning/buying expertise, and in-depth awareness of the advertising and content ecosystems. You will take a hands-on approach to building bespoke sellable opportunities while also breaking down silos, managing multiple stakeholders across the organization, implementing new processes, and securing internal and external buy-in to ultimately help accelerate the growth of TikTok for Business solutions. TikTok currently observes a hybrid working policy of 4 days in the office each week and 1 day working remotely. This position is full-time and based out of our Toronto, Ontario office.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create first-of-its-kind opportunities to bring to brands for branded programming
- Amplify TikTok's mission of inspiring creativity and joy through the creation of a varied slate of TikTok ownable monetization opportunities that pay off the business objectives of and drive results for our advertiser partners
- Partner with clients to understand their business objectives to inform future monetization opportunities and to educate the market about editorial/content opportunities and thereby accelerating the overall growth of TikTok Business solutions.
- Generate revenue with these opportunities/sponsorship packages
- Forge partnerships across the user and B2B sides of TikTok, including Sales Operations, Product, Content Partnerships, Creator Solutions, Content Programming, Music, Brand Marketing, Business Marketing, and Sales to unlock the most strategic, innovative content solutions for TikTok advertisers.

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of experience in digital advertising, ad sales, and/or brand marketing
- Experience managing advertisers throughout the funnel with a deep understanding of their challenges and objectives

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience building relationships with top marketing decision-makers at brands and agencies
- Ability to analyze data and identify insights to assess campaign performance
- Ability to proactively troubleshoot and problem-solve quickly and through the proper escalation channels
- Proactive attitude with excellent project management, organizational, and analytical skills
- Experience diagnosing and solving technical problems with product and engineering teams
- Ability to effectively translate technical language to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience with ad verification partners (IAS, DV, MOAT)
