**Position Description**:
Research Opportunity at SickKids in Health Equity and Pediatric Hospital Care

We seek a clinical project research assistant for a project centred around child health equity. Specifically, our work focuses on the experiences of patients and families with limited English who use Languages other than English (LOE) for healthcare. Patients with families who speak LOE primarily are known to be at risk for worse health outcomes. We are conducting a large project to improve these outcomes in the Canadian context focused on the pediatric inpatient setting. We are specifically seeking a clinical project research assistant to lead and assist with a qualitative study on the lived experiences of families and youth who speak LOE primarily. The clinical project research assistant will be involved in qualitative interviews, data management, and study project management. The clinical project research assistant will also assist with a survey of hospitals related to the same issue. Previous qualitative experience is an asset but not required. Students, such as in the MD program, may apply.

**Employment Type**: 2.5 hours per week for 1 year
