Bilingual Sales Development Representative

Skyline Group is a Canadian company that manufactures and sells roof safety and access systems such as permanent ladders, guardrails, and walkway systems to clients throughout Canada.

We are seeking a **Bilingual** **Sales Development Representative** for our Trade Sales Team.
This is a full-time in-office position from either our Montreal or head office in Perth, Ontario with expected travel to be around 10 percent.
**Key Accountabilities**
- Create and execute a specification plan designed to have Skyline Group products and services stipulated as a supplier of choice for rooftop and elevated safety solutions.
- Organize and execute a series of lunch-and-learn presentations.
- Ensure all leads and customer interactions are documented in the CRM system.
- Meet targets for new business generated; promote and sell consulting services to specifiers where appropriate.
- Track opportunity pipeline and notify sales team when projects are tendered.
- Build a pool of new specifiers.
- Coordinate between sales and engineering for where specifiers need design assistance.
**Desired Skills and Competencies**:
- Proven business knowledge and experience gained from at least two years in a sales, sales support, or business development role.
- Demonstrated experience prequalifying leads and lead generation.
- Strong presentation skills, both virtual and in-person.
- Strong experience with cold-calling with a proven ability to cultivate relationships and influence decision-makers.
- Fully bilingual in English and French.

Il s'agit d'un poste à temps plein au bureau, à partir de notre siège social de Montréal ou de Perth, en Ontario, avec des déplacements prévus d'environ 10 %.
**Principales responsabilités**
- Créer et exécuter un plan de spécification conçu pour que les produits et services du Skyline Group soient considérés comme un fournisseur de choix pour les solutions de sécurité sur les toits et en hauteur.
- Organiser et exécuter une série de présentations de type « lunch-and-learn ».
- S'assurer que toutes les pistes et les interactions avec les clients sont documentées dans le système CRM.
- Atteindre les objectifs fixés pour les nouvelles affaires générées ; promouvoir et vendre des services de conseil aux prescripteurs, le cas échéant.
- Suivre le pipeline d'opportunités et informer l'équipe de vente lorsque des projets font l'objet d'un appel d'offres.
- Construire un pool de nouveaux prescripteurs.
- Coordonner les ventes et l'ingénierie pour les cas où les prescripteurs ont besoin d'une assistance à la conception.
**Aptitudes et compétences souhaitées**:
- Connaissances et expérience commerciales éprouvées acquises au cours d'au moins deux ans dans un rôle de vente, d'assistance à la vente ou de développement commercial.
- Expérience avérée de la pré-qualification des prospects et de la génération de prospects.
- Solides compétences en matière de présentation, à la fois virtuelle et en personne.
- Solide expérience du démarchage téléphonique et capacité avérée à cultiver des relations et à influencer les décideurs.
- Parfaitement bilingue en anglais et en français.
