**Product Specialist Emergency Lighting - NAM**:

ABB Smart Buildings digitally transforms commercial, industrial and residential buildings for the highest comfort, efficiency, safety and security - enhancing quality of life in buildings of the future through safe, smart and sustainable electrification solutions, services and products. Reporting to the Global Product and Marketing Manager, the incumbent’s holds a pivotal role in the organization as he/she is responsible for boosting the profitable growth Emergency Lighting portfolio for the North American market. This role requires experience in coordinating customer specials and sourced product-related activities, such as product and market trends, product life cycle, new product introduction, product training and launches.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Identify strategic actions, engage collaboratively, and contribute to your cross-functional team and suppliers, to meet the Portfolio's targets while ensuring they align with the company objectives.
- Identify and validate from the market, the product required specifications and work closely with the EML Product Manager and the R&D team throughout sourcing process, meeting key indicators in a timely manner.
- Monitor revenues and sales trends and communicate with cross-functional and sourcing team, forecasted fluctuations to ensure they meet customer needs.
- Ensure product life cycle actions are well-defined in time, considering your cross-functional team's critical elements.
- Structure pricing guidelines & market positioning to optimize organic growth and expand into new segments.
- Collaborate with Marketing, technical support and sales teams, ensuring our customer satisfaction is at the forefront.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environment and quality procedures, processes, Codes and standards.

**Your background**:

- 2 to 5 years of experience as Product Specialist or Project Management, or related experience.
- Knowledge of related products and/or sourcing experience in an agile organization is required.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to interpret and communicate to the cross-functional team, the technical and specifications relevant for this portfolio.
- Customer focus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration or equivalent.
- Knowledge and/or experience of the electrical/lighting industry is an asset.
- French and English bilingualism, spoken and written is an asset.
