**Specialist - Total Rewards**
Reporting to the Manager, Total Rewards this is a remote work from home opportunity which supports the Total Rewards team in developing and implementing Western’s total rewards strategy, including compensation, benefits, rewards and recognition programs.
**Here is what a typical day looks like**
- Leading project teams in the design, implementation and continuous improvement of all Westerns total rewards programs
- Developing recommendations on program enhancements by using a data driven approach
- Preparing data & analysis for annual projects and initiatives
- Advising to create efficiencies in the day-to-day operations
- Answering employee inquiries on total rewards offerings through in-depth knowledge of Western’s total rewards programs and practices
- Supporting with the day-to-day administration of total rewards processes, such as ESOP, RRSP contributions, and benefits billing
- Acting as a liaison between various teams for overlapping responsibilities and deliverables
- Preparing and presenting employee facing materials and communications, ensuring clarity and understanding
- Developing & Performing audits on various systems (Benefits portal, HRIS, payroll) to ensure accuracy in data entry
- Providing recommendations to enhance system capabilities within HRIS with future state thinking
- Supporting integrations as it pertains to Total Rewards activities, delivering a positive onboarding experience
- Providing recommendations to support strategy development and planning and creating tactical action plans to accomplish the organization’s strategic goals
- Preparing monthly/quarterly and annual metrics
- Delivering strategic projects impacting the entire organization
**The value you bring**
- Proven experience supporting a Compensation & Benefits / Total Rewards team
- Working towards CCP an asset, not a requirement
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources, Financial Analysis, or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
Hours: Full Time - 37.5 hours/week
Location: Remote within Canada
Compensation Range: $76,000 - $105,000
