**Job Purpose**:
As a member of the Accounts Receivable team, you will be responsible for reviewing/collecting past due accounts and negotiating payment agreements. If you are a detail-oriented, organized professional, please send us your cover letter and resume.

**Specific Job Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring and maintaining up-to-date records for client accounts and reviewing accounts in arrears to ensure appropriate actions are taken
- Professionally handling customer inquiries, including providing detailed customer statements as required, and resolving payment disputes
- Tracing and locating debtors to make payment arrangements
- Act as back up for reception - receive and direct incoming calls to appropriate personnel
- Recommending further action or discontinuation of service on occasions where payment is not forthcoming by liaising with the Customer Service and Sales departments where necessary
- Preparing reports as required

**Experience & Knowledge / Education Requirements**:

- Post-secondary diploma, degree, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 1-2 years of credit and collections experience
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to prioritize projects to ensure adherence to assigned project deadlines
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and proficient in Excel

**Location**: Corporate Head office is located in North York. _**100% in-office**_

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $38,000.00-$40,000.00 per year
