**Position Objectives**:

- Develop the most customer centric and future proof premium automotive retail network in Canada. The Manager, Retail Business Development will lead and execute the Porsche Retail Network Strategy for PCL.
- Lead, develop and optimize Porsche dealership performance and business results through:

- Process Excellence (Porsche Business Excellence Program)
- Dealer Motivation Programs (Margin and Premier Dealer)
- Field and Dealer Engagement (KPIs, Reporting, Steering)

**Primary Responsibilities**:
Retail Network Planning:

- Long term network planning strategy
- Develop Dealer Operating Standards
- Dealer Agreements
- Lead the dealership facility design process in conjunction with the dealers’ architects and Weis.
- New Retail Formats - Propose and execute new retail formats where appropriate
- Customer Experience Strategy - Launch, manage, coordinate and scale the PCL Customer Experience Strategy Roadmap on an annual basis
- E-Performance - active member of PCL E-Performance team to lead PCLs electrification strategy. Collaborate in all areas our E-Performance Strategy with particular focus on dealership execution.
- Digitalization - closely coordinate with Manager, Retail Digitalization, PCL Marketing and PAG to steer omni-channel retail strategy for PCL.
- Develop and manage a market specific Porsche Business Excellence (PBE) strategy incl. detailed roll-out plan and budget. PBE is a centrally run program that develops and implements Porsche retail improvement initiatives and strategies.
- Responsible for hiring, training and monitoring of PBE Dealership Consultants
- Develop and manage KPI reporting tools and utilize financial analysis to support Dealer improvement.
- Oversee General Manager Training Needs Analysis and ensure training scope matches requirements based on analysis
- Manage the development of Margin and Premier Dealer by recommending changes and proposals to meet PCL short and long term goals and areas of focus.
- Lead critical vendor relationships (Optimum, IHS)
- People - Supervise Retail Development Manager, Business Development Specialist and Retail Development Intern.

**Education**:

- University degree, with specialization in business, finance and/or accounting preferred. MBA is an asset.

**Experience**

**(Job and Industry)**:

- 10+ years automotive experience at the manufacturer level. Luxury experience is an asset.
- Prior experience managing people
- Extensive direct contact with Dealer Principals and General Managers is highly valued.
- Previous market representation & network development experience is highly valued
- Strong track record of project management

**Skills / Competencies**:

- A future oriented mindset on premium customer experience
- Highly customer centric.
- Knowledgeable of dealership operations
- Ability to converse at eye level with investors and senior dealership management
- Previous facility and network planning experience is an asset
- Ability to multi-task, handle multiple priorities and make decisions independently.
- Highly capable of interpreting financial statements, and developing/analyzing key performance indicators
- Organized and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and problem solving abilities
- Excellent project management skills with proven track record of target achievement (time, quality, budget)
- Willingness to travel
- French language is a strong asset
- German language is an asset

- Understanding of electrification landscape (dealer infrastructure and CX)
