Technical Team Lead

**Overview**:
The Technical Team Lead will work with other internal ATS teams including software development and divisional teams to deliver industry leading outcomes for automation based clients. The role will require customer and resource management skills as well as automation architecture experience.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead team members to successful outcomes around customer satisfaction, project completion and growth of our digital services business
- Oversee team loading, utilization and adherence to technical scope- Manage bookings, invoicing and ensure accuracy in financial reporting
- Drive process improvements and adoption within the technical team
- Develop and approve commercial proposals for pilots and deployments
- Participate in Product Roadmap and Advisory Board sessions
- Build sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships with customers through technical and business expertise with respect to OEE, data analytics and insight metrics and programs.
- Achieve key performance indicators (KPI).
- Work with Account Managers to cultivate and educate current and potential customers on data management, analytics and maintenance best practices
- Conduct site assessments (onsite/remote) to review the condition of the industrial network, machine hardware and associated software to develop roadmaps and architect Industry 4.0 solutions for our customers.
- Function as a Digital Expert within the team on ATS & Competitor products for seamless integration and architecture
- Keep records of customer interactions and file documents using the ATS CRM (Sales Force).
- Attend meetings, sales events and trainings to keep relevant on the latest digital solutions.
- Ensure that all business activities are performed with the highest ethical standards and in compliance with the ATS Code of Business Conduct.
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and procedures.
- Adhere to all International Standardization Organization (ISO) Procedures/Forms/Work Instructions as well as department procedures.
- Support and participate in Quality Management Program.
- Travel will be required as part of this role.
- Off-hours availability may be required.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Education**:
- Diploma or degree in engineering or technology.
**Experience**:
- Experience with customized automation solutions.
- Experience with CRM pipeline management.
- Experience with delivering digital technical sales solutions.
**Qualifications**:
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills - verbal and written
- Customer facing personality who operates well in a results oriented environment.
- Strong written skills and attention to detail. Proposal writing is a key part of this role.
- Comfortable with identifying up-selling opportunities and pro-actively developing new opportunities.
- Knowledge of computer programs such as Salesforce, Excel, Word, MS Outlook, and Windows.
