Halifax, Canada Waterfront Warehouse Restaurant & Oyster House Full time

As the original tug boat repair warehouse on the waterfront and re-imagined as a bustling seafood and oyster house, the Waterfront Warehouse calls out to tourists and locals alike. A large patio, raw bar stocked with fresh oysters and lobster tanks calls out to diners that we're taking the best of the sea, and simply preparing it.

As a fast-paced restaurant, The Warehouse an assistant to the Chef, or a Sous Chef for the spring, summer and early fall. Proven ability to run a professional team, prepare and execute an elevated menu, and mentor culinary professionals in a high-level kitchen with stringent expectations. This position reports to an executive chef, but has much autonomy to run the day to day operation, but also has support for standards, systems and creative.

Applicants must reside in Canada or have valid working permit in Canada to be eligible for this position.

3 year minimum as a senior chef in a busy restaurant, hotel or commercial catering is required

Culinary management certification, Red seal certification or equivalent is required

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $4,500.00-$5,500.00 per month
