**Account Representative**

**(Permanent Position)**

**Position Description**:
We are seeking a full-time employee with a background in Customer Service to work as part of a team in support of our external customers.

**What will you do?**
- Provide superior customer service to our established customers
- Problem Solve: Analyze and find solutions to customer issues in a friendly, professional, and proactive way
- Innovate: Find more efficient methods to service customers
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers, maximizing efficiency to provide a seamless customer service experience

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Receive customer orders to meet a sales plan or forecast as directed by management
- Book orders into our order entry system in a timely fashion, and validate against customer purchase orders to ensure correct price, dimensions, specifications, etc.
- Manage customer inventory levels and take appropriate actions to ensure on-time-delivery
- Monitor monthly shipping performance and communicate need for elevated actions internally and externally as required
- Gather, document, and communicate relevant customer business issues

**Desired Skills & Experience**:

- University Degree/College Diploma or 1-3 years of related experience
- Ability to prioritize, and manage time efficiently within a dynamic business environment
- Excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate level computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Passion for Customer Service and a drive to exceed customer expectations
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

**Work Environment**:

- Office environment.
- This position is eligible for remote work in accordance with our current remote work policy.

**Hours of Work**:

- Typical business hours are days, Monday to Friday, with extended hours as required due to periods of peak workloads.
- Flexibility to determine workday start and end times outside of core hours
