Over the past 30 years, our company has grown from one office with 3 employees in downtown Hamilton, to 100 employees in 7 offices across Southern Ontario.Morison Insurance is currently seeking a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team of insurance professionals This role is located on-site, Monday - Friday.Position ResponsibilitiesManaging and servicing commercial accountsReviewing renewals with clients, providing coverage recommendationsAssisting clients with their day-to-day inquiriesOpportunities to write New Business through referralsMarketing existing accounts to insurance companiesDeveloping insurance market knowledge in order to know where a risk will fitUnderstand wordings and coverages to be able to compare insurance policies and quotesSkills You Will Need To SucceedA Registered Insurance Broker License (RIBO)Knowledge in Commercial Property & Casualty, Commercial Auto, and Farm InsuranceCompleted, enrolled or interested in the Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses would be an assetCollege Insurance Program Diploma or an undergraduate degree is an assetStrong customer service skills to build relationships and maintain long-term growth and retentionExcellent organizational, planning and prioritizing skillsA positive attitude with a strong work ethicValues We Live ByGo Beyond - Be exceptional, shine brightlyEvolve - Think outside the boxOwn It - Empowered to deliverOur Promise - Do the right thingUnified - Together as oneWhat We OfferCompetitive salaryRRSP Matching PlanGroup Benefits Plan (health, dental, vision)Employee Assistance Program4-weeks of vacationPaid personal days and extra days off at ChristmasMonday to Friday work schedule – 8:30 am - 4:30pmGrowing insurance brokerage with access to many marketsContinuing EducationModern offices and technology that supports teamwork, skills development and collaborationOur offices close early on Fridays of long weekends from May to OctoberFull commission on employee home and auto policiesAccommodationsMorison Insurance prides itself on being an equal opportunity employer.
