**THIS IS A PART- TIME POSITION (UP TO 16 HOURS A WEEK). ABILITY TO WORK FLEXIBLE HOURS IS REQUIRED.**

**WHAT WILL YOU DO?**
- Serve as a positive role model to build trusting connections with residents, enhancing their sense of security and belonging within the community.
- Establish meaningful connections with residents, fostering a sense of community and belonging, with the ultimate goal of improving their quality of life while promoting best practices for Avenue’s asset.
- Assist in bridging communication gaps within our diverse resident population to ensure everyone feels heard and understood.
- Translate and interpret notices and other communications to ensure clear and effective information distribution.
- Create and maintain a strong community network, ensuring substantial representation and connection between various community groups including local law enforcement, CCIS, etc
- Complete notice distribution providing preparation education, perform follow up assessments and required escalation notices.
- Perform other duties as required to support community engagement and operation.

**WHAT WILL YOU NEED?**
- Experience in community engagement or a similar role.
- **Ability to speak and write in multiple languages inclusive of **English**, Somali, Arabic, English, Tagalog, Tigrinya, Slavic, and Spanish**:

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency in data entry and record keeping.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently.
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision and must possess a flexible, willing and positive attitude.
