If you love exploring Calgary’s vibrant food scene, hidden gems, and local events, we invite you to become part of something special WanderingInYYC is looking for 5-7 ambassadors/content creators who can authentically share their experiences and help our community discover the best Calgary has to offer.

**What Is the WanderingInYYC Ambassador Program?**

We’re building a community of local creators who are passionate about connecting Calgarians and tourists with the best experiences in Calgary. As a WanderingInYYC Ambassador, you’ll capture and share your authentic experiences around the city through engaging photo and video content. You’ll be part of a dynamic team showcasing everything from local restaurants to exciting events.

**Roles & Responsibilities**:

- Visit local restaurants, events, attractions, and hidden gems to create 1-2 engaging pieces of content per week (photos, Reels, stories, blog posts etc.).
- Pitch creative ideas and suggestions for content, in alignment with WanderingInYYC’s mission.
- Regularly engage with WanderingInYYC’s social media audience by sharing personal stories, recommendations, and insights.
- Serve as a positive role model by encouraging others to explore Calgary and its rich offerings.
- Collaborate with the WanderingInYYC team and fellow ambassadors to brainstorm, strategize, and troubleshoot as needed.
- Respond to team communications and attend monthly check-ins (virtual or in-person).

**Contract & Compensation**:

- This is a 6-month paid contract role. Compensation is based on events visited and content created, offering flexibility and rewarding your time spent exploring the city.

**Qualifications**:

- You live in Calgary or visit frequently and have a deep love for the city.
- You can take high-quality photos and videos using your smartphone or camera.
- You’re comfortable with social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
- You have access to the internet and are familiar with basic tools like Google Drive.
- You’re proactive, creative, and have a passion for sharing authentic experiences.

Pay: Up to $150.00 per day
