**Job Overview**

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

- Providing administrative support to the EWP Manager, maintaining accurate EWP department records, generating building materials list, distributing reports, reconciling MBA & BisTrack spreadsheets, and monitoring office supplies.
- Facilitating communication between sales, customers, and production for efficient and timely product delivery and addressing production issues.
- Participating in creating design packages and information packages, notifying shipping department of production and delivery dates, and distributing production status reports.
- Monitoring updates on incoming truss jobs and entering data into BisTrack and MBA systems.
- Assisting in resolving credit issues and monitoring inventory levels, notifying the EWP Manager of potential shortages.
- Adhering to Star's health and safety policies, being vigilant of workplace hazards and safety violations, and reporting them to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintaining a clean, organized workplace, ensuring safety of incidental visitors.
- Remaining alert for opportunities to enhance productivity, cost-efficiency, and product quality, making recommendations as appropriate.

**Essential Requirements**
- High school Diploma, or equivalent.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an administrative role.
- Satisfactory verification of criminal record check.
- Comfortable using office equipment and Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint and PowerPoint).

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Diploma or Certificate in Office Administration is preferred.
- Previous experience in the building materials or manufacturing industry is a strong asset.
- Previous experience with BisTrack, MBA & MiTek software suites is an asset.

**Work Conditions**

You primarily work in an office setting during regular business hours, 7:00am-4:00 pm. Overtime may occasionally be required.
