We are currently looking for an **Outside Sales Representative** to join our team in our **Brampton **branch, located at **24 Melanie Dr., Brampton, ON. **If you are personable, energetic and customer-oriented, why not join our team and put your career on a path to success
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Work in the field making calls and attending industry events to develop close relationships with key decision markers among existing and new customers
- Resolve customer/client issues and/or problems, liaise with inside sales, credit and warehouse personnel
- Develop and implement follow-up strategies for specific projects on an ongoing basis
- Focus on consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets while also providing accurate sales forecasting
- Communicate with customers providing or coordinating customer service, quotes, and dispute resolution by building a strong relationship between the customer and company
- Promote digital sales using the web platform
- Developing and servicing existing and new customers to gain and sustain long-term relationships between clients and the company
- Prepare sales forecasts for the next selling year; review sales results with the Regional Manager on a monthly basis or as required/requested
- Territory planning, calls and route planning to maximize sales
- Identify, target and acquire new customer accounts
- Participate in special sales functions and tradeshows as required/requested
- Remain current in company product
- Prepare and generate reports as required/requested
- Provide support to the Inside Sales department as required
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Minimum of 3 years previous sales experience with background knowledge in plumbing, heating, HVAC, mechanical/industrial pipe and fittings
- Proven business development skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and negotiation/problem-solving skills
- High degree of accuracy with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Ability to grasp and communicate the technical aspects of the company’s products
- Good mathematical skills
- Self-starter, well organized with the ability to multi-task and execute plan of action with mínimal supervision
- Available to travel on a daily basis, some overnight travel as required/requested
- Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean driving record
