**Role**:
Reporting to the Associate Director, Transformation and Change Management, the incumbent works with other Senior resources on the TCM team and Student solution delivery teams to ensure integration of TCM activities across functional analysis, design and development; solutions architecture; and data quality/migration. The Transformation and Change Lead leads the development of strategy and tactics related to required academic/business transformation and change management in their functional portfolio.

Working closely with the Associate Director, and in relation to their assigned functional portfolio, the Transformation and Change Lead is responsible for ensuring that business-owned data values and process transformation required for the implementation of new Student solutions, as well as related policy changes, are achieved in a timely way to support implementation milestones. The incumbent develops and leads community engagement plans to support future state design for their functional portfolio, identifies change impacts for people, process, data and technology, and creates and deploys strategies, plans and materials to support community stakeholders in understanding and adapting to new processes and technologies.

The Transformation and Change Lead is expected to develop a proficient understanding of future state functionality and related business processes in their assigned functional portfolio and serves as an expert resource to the TCM Community Support team, Communications & Engagement team and Training team, developing materials and supporting related activities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Working with Student Solution Team, informs and develops detailed understanding of portfolio future state functional solution.
- Working with Directors, and using inputs from Student Solution team, determine strategies for achieving required academic/business transformation and transition.
- Develops and leads community engagement plans to ensure appropriate stakeholder involvement and visibility in solution design and execution of testing.
- Conducts consultations and presentations with academic and administrative units, advisory and governance bodies to inform transformation and change plans.
- Identify change impacts and impacted stakeholders with support from the Student solution delivery team.
- Aligned to a functional portfolio, is responsible for strategizing, planning, and informing the execution of academic/business transformation and change management activities with impacted units.
- Using inputs from Student solution team, develops materials to convey transformation requirements and future state functionality to be used with community partners.
- Supports CEPs in developing local change plans to be delivered by unit-based TCM Leads and Transition Network members.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of leadership experience with business transformation initiatives ideally in a higher education environment - provides mentoring and coaching to managers and staff on how to manage change, as well as provides leadership and education on demonstrated areas of expertise.
- Highly developed understanding of how people go through a change and the change process.

**Nice to have**:

- A solid understanding of client's culture, activities and patterns is an asset.
- Current understanding of student related administrative processes for our client is an asset.
- Experience with IT Service Management, ITIL principles an asset.
- Training and experience in Prosci or equivalent change management methodology/framework is an asset.
