Eco Dine has an immediate opening for an **Operations Manager. **This is a full-time position based out of our **Calgary head office**. This role involves coordinating logistics, managing personnel, ensuring compliance with regulations, implementing efficient processes, and prioritizing health and safety to enhance the overall effectiveness of collection activities. This is a fast paced, deadline driven role that requires superb organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

**Summary of Responsibilities**:

- Inspire and manage a high-performing team of drivers and laborers by fostering a collaborative culture that values teamwork and individual growth.
- Continuously assess and optimize the performance of our facilities, ensuring seamless collection and recycling processes.
- Review, analyze, and enhance facility processes to streamline operations, reduce costs, and boost overall productivity.
- Lead and contribute to strategic project planning initiatives within the operations department, ensuring successful execution and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide technical evaluation of potential business developments, exploring opportunities for expansion, efficiency improvements, and sustainable growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, ensuring all operations align with environmental and safety standards.
- Health and Safety Leadership: Develop and implement robust health and safety protocols for collection activities, conduct regular training sessions, and ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines.
- Investigate and report accidents or incidents, implementing corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager and customer service teams to enhance customer satisfaction and promptly resolve issues.
- :Assist in the development and managing the operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with financial targets.
- Oversee the Company’s fleet and maintenance requirements.
- Identify areas for cost reduction without compromising service quality.
- Travel up to 30% for operational oversight and team collaboration.

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field considered an asset.
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the environmental services or logistics industry.
- Project management experience with a track record of successful execution.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to environmental services.

**Competencies**:

- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of vehicle and trucking operations.
