**Overview**

Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the **Area Sales Manager** will be responsible for ensuring the efficient process of sales in their territory along with providing the best customer service to current and future customers.

- Master communicator with all key stakeholders in the sales and construction process.
- Creative problem-solver; thinks creatively and acts collaboratively.
- Adapts and embraces change; disruption continues to change the retail landscape and you are ready for it
- Acts and thinks like an owner; you are responsible for millions of dollars of inventory and a retail centre and you treat it with an ownership lens.
- Drive and hustle - you work hard and do what it takes to get the job done, but can turn it off and recharge.
- Competitive with the desire to win while still being able to work as a collaborative team member.
- Genuine love and passion for real estate - this industry is what you live for & is what makes you hop of out bed in the morning

**Qualifications for this role**:

- Post-secondary education - experience and superior communication skills accepted in lieu of education.
- **4+ years new home sales experience**; you know and love our industry and 'get it'.
- 2 years marketing or business development experience. Your ownership lens means that you participate in the marketing of your retail centre and procurement of future opportunities.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Marketing or Business Development: 2 years (required)
- New Home Sales Management: 4 years (required)
