**The opportunity**
From intimate “I dos” to large, elegant weddings - you will assist the Owner & Lead Planner in executing the design, décor and logistics of weddings & events across various Nova Scotian venues for the 2024 wedding season.
This is an exciting role as you will not only get to collaborate with many functions in the wedding & event space to create a seamless and special day, but you will also have the opportunity to capture unforgettable moments and shape the visual narrative of our client’s special day.
The wedding industry is busy and fast-paced, but we also have fun while we work - and we hope you will, too.
This is a part-time role based in Halifax, Nova Scotia with the opportunity to grow and expand, as we do the same.
**What to Expect**
- Assist with event setup & teardown, décor set-up and design in assistance and as instructed by Lead Planner
- Assist in managing wedding logistics, including vendor coordination, timelines, and schedules.
- Maintain the schedule and coordinate the timeline for all events throughout wedding day
- Overseeing communication with vendors
- Attend Décor meetings with Lead Planner & Client
- Collaborate with the Lead Planner to brainstorm content ideas, plan editorial styled shoots, and coordinate content production
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and ensure our content remains relevant and engaging

- High School Diploma / Secondary education
- Must be based in Nova Scotia
- Driver’s License and vehicle required
- Must be flexible to work weekends based on event schedule
- Previous experience working in the customer service industry and/or social media considered an asset
**A few more details**
- Events will take place at various venues across Nova Scotia
- _Wedding Coordinator & Content Creator_ will assist Owner & Lead Planner with décor and event set-up which will require, at times, lifting, carrying and moving various décor items (weight ranges from 0-50lbs)
- Hours will range from 10-12 hrs
- Salary: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
- Start date: 2024-06-29
- End date: 2024-10-12

Expected hours: 10 - 12 per week
Schedule:
